On 19 March we once again got the chance to hang out as colleagues outside of work, and meet the families, which is always a fun and interesting experience. Our annual family day turned out to be yet another success. But what made it extra special this year, was the intimate location decided on for this occasion. Not that Ratanga Junction ever disappoints, however, this year, indie-publishing decided to move away from the adrenaline and instead get together and relax (well, not quite) at the lovely Lat-wai farm in Durbanville.
I was amazed at the amount of activities available – not just for the kids, but for the entire family! I mean, image a giant human foosball! Whaaaat!? The guys and some girls loved it and the game later became a huge crowd attraction, so did the Rodeo Ride and many other activities which kept the kids busy for way longer than we planned.
It may already be well into Autumn, but the sun decided to bask with us for ol’ time sake before it heads off to far unknown places.
If you’re an animal lover, this place has them all! I’ve never been surrounded by so many animals that has not been locked away behind a fence.
Don’t believe me? check out the shots hubby was lucky to capture of this amazing day 🙂
Lat-wai also hosts kids parties in the barn.
